Kitagawa Utamaro
I was surfing around recently and came across the following message:
You step in the stream,
but the water has moved on.
This page is not here.
- Cass Whittington
I went looking for Cass and found that she had entered a Haiku Error Messages Contest run by Salon Magazine. Some of the entries are amusing, others would infuriate me! Here are some more:

but endless others exist. But now it is gone.

I ate your web page. Windows NT crashed.
Forgive me. It was juicy I am the Blue Screen of Death.
And tart on my tongue No one hears your screams.

Well, they all made me laugh...
...here in your post!
Wanda...they are a giggle; preferable to those horrid error numbers that send you around in circles!
Hi Alaine,
The first is particularly stylish, I think, in the spirit of haiku. The others all amused me so I'm guessing it was some of the ones you didn't select that would infuriate?!
What a perfect illustration you found for the first! I do enjoy these, as long as I'm not faced with them for real.
You new header photo is extremely nice, Aline!
Derrick...amusing yes but as dancingbeastie said, 'as long as I'm not faced with them for real'!
dancingbeastie...exactly!
Wanda...thank you. It's the view across the road - I took it this time last year. The trees along the river, touched by the afternoon sun, the smoke curling up; it was awesome.
Good ones - I especially like the web page and tart tongue.
"no one hears your screams..." oh dear! LOL!
Your blog decorating is looking lovely, dear! :)
Very clever and amusing.....xv
