As Summer into Autumn slips....

Grape

The leaves are turning and gremlins are in my image uploader; everything is being FLIPPED!!! There's nothing I can do about it, so I've decided to leave it. It doesn't matter with leafy pics but I wonder what will happen to my tree pics!!

Manchurian Pear

Claret Ash

Robinia 'Mop Top'

Thankfully, all standing!

In a few more weeks they'll be bare.

It's fun to think you're slipping into autumn just as we are into spring.

Hi Alaine,

Amazing how computer gizmos can work perfectly one minute and then not! Glad the trees came out right way up. The slipping looks very gentle at the moment. Savour the slide!

For some reason I thought you were just getting into your summer...could time have passed so quickly? Your mop top is beautiful. It looks as if there is another off shoot of it to the right. Your upside down photos fit right in with the weather...seems like something is going on when I hear Melbourne has had terrible rains, and hail the size of baseballs!
Happy Tuesday

Willow...the way the world works, like losing 2 hours on a plane flight! I have my woolly sox on this morning; looking forward to the next few months!

Derrick...mmmm, like the comment box that also takes its time! Will enjoy it all, away from the stifling heat!

Karen(MG)...actually, our Summer has flown. You're right, there are two 'mop tops' there; they are lovely but they're sending shoots right under the house slab and coming up the other side, so beware, everyone, don't plant Robinias close to the house!

Yes, the storm was horrific, about $200 million damage. We're two hours away, got the storm but not the hail, thankfully. I was very worried about our car parked at the long-term carpark just out of Melbourne but luckily, no dents!

dear alaine, how strange it is to imagine summer slipping into autumn, it made me think how much i do enjoy each season for what it brings and then as each draws to a close i am glad to let it go & greet the next . Beautiful autumnal images x x

Hello Ruthie...I do appreciate Summer; at least you know you're alive! I like the way you've put that, 'glad to let it go and greet the next' - I love the first day of the new season and look forward to what it will bring.

Hello Tracy...thank you for visiting and everything couldn't be better! Yes, we're into beautiful Autumn, the temperature is inviting me back into the garden to clear up the chaos (weeds!) of Summer; it's too hot for me to work outside very much then, except for mowing. Enjoy Spring; I should imagine it would still be chilly where you are but lovely days.
