Oh my gosh this is hilarious. They seem so at home. Do you supply them with toiles de jouy as well?...giggles We have Mourning Doves that love to hang out on my patio furniture, and I need to hose it often, but we do love watching them. You have the most beautiful birds out there. BTW thanks for the heads up on BibliOdyssey. xxoo
Nancy...another bird we don't have here. I looked it up just now and it has the same habit of the cockatoo wherein when excited or aggressive, it raises its crest. A very pretty bird but most are, aren't they!

Looks like they're really enjoying themselves! What a gracious hostess you are!

That's so very impressive...here, the Cardinals do that to my back porch in the winter, looking for seeds!
OMG - I love those birds! We just have Blue Jays this time of year.
Willow..not so gracious when the detritus builds up! DMJ's pets, DMJ's job to clean up!
Karen...we do enjoy their company. A scrub and a hose down is easy when we're expecting human company!
Yes, that blog is different; love all that old stuff!
Wanda...Cardinals, they're those beautiful red birds; something we don't get here!

Very cute! I have a similar photo of my chickens sitting on my patio table! And their "detritus" is definitely not welcome! LOL
