alaine! i love christmas - it's the only time of year i can gain weight! the rest of the year i'm walking, biking, running, working. however, in a week i get my bike on the indoor training rollers and it'll all melt away!!! happy new year! steven
Very cool statue. I had to do a double take...my mind went right in the gutter, and I thought it might be something beside dancing that the two were doing! lol!! Who is the artist? Outstanding piece! Happy New Year Alaine. Wishing you peace and love in 2010! xxoo
Boy,that hurts! My youngest son, 25, a former division one college decathlete, constantly nags me to lose weight. He tells me, for every hour on the computer, I need to put in 15 minutes on the treadmill. If he weren't right, I'd be offended!!
Steven, I'm glad you can still exercise despite the snow! It's a pity our treadmill packed up; we both kept fit with that. Perhaps we'll have to invest in another. Happy New Year!
Karen & Lakeviewer, I forget where I found the photo; I'm thinking a resort in Western Australia - no idea who the artist is. Happy New Year to you both!
Carmen, you're not the only one - too much sitting and I'm giving up the peanuts! As I said to Steven, we must invest in another treadmill; I loved it on the days I couldn't get out to walk. Happy New Year! xa
Friko, yes, I don't think I'll give blogging away completely. I've found out so much about my Mother's family tree in just four days, so I'll be back soon I suppose, scratching my head again!
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all trip the light fantastic like that? I envy Steven's ability to have it all just "melt away"! Enjoy all you do in 2010.
And a Happy New Year to you, Derrick! Yes, to have it melt away before our eyes would be magic, and to have those amusement park mirrors that make you slimmer and taller all over the house!

Hello Willow, I'd love to be in warm woollies instead of shedding clothes in this HEAT!! Many happies in 2010!
Lyn, the best for 2010 and enjoy the snow in the Big Apple!
Hi Firelight, yes, our first day of the year is now at 3:32pm and you're getting ready for the midnight countdown! Best wishes for 2010!
Oh, this is sooo funny....and the holidays to blogging and you certainly have blub. hee! Someone needs to invent a blogger Wii! haha.
I'm losing weight shovelling mountains of snow!!
A Happy New Year to you Alaine!
if only I could!
Perhaps if you supplied the handsome male?
We are unable to get out, except on foot and even that is tricky!. I could do an involuntary version of the dane on the ice, perhaps?
I've been thinking (and writing) about bloggers, came up with lots of good reasons to keep it up, in spite of the ever expanding waistline.
Betsy, a blogger Wii would be great! To exercise the neck?!
Phoenix C, oh, you poor girl; that's one job I would hate but it has to be done. Mulching's just as bad but at least it can wait!
