'Somewhere' was here this afternoon....

4:30pm this afternoon
from the office window

it has been a bitterly cold day;
I should wear the camera
around my neck
as I missed the wind squall
which sent coloured leaves flying

~ from the kitchen window ~

it is the coldest start to May for 10 years

another rainbow at 5pm
we might have snow in the morning

'troubles melt like lemon drops'
when you stand and take this in

There is something so magical in rainbows! Lovely, lovely pictures, and you had a 'double' one!

I'm always very exited to see a rainbow, thinking and singing "somewhere over the r......" and cannot rush enough to get my camera out.

Wonderful to see an Australian one!

And yes - "the troubles melt...."!
Merci beaucoup et
amicalement, karin

Even a touch of a double rainbow in the second photo.

Isn't there something so magical about rainbows. We have been having them here a-plenty lately with all the rain. Wonderful images as always x

Come to Ohio, USA and have some warm spring! :)

What awesome photos. You have a gorgeous view! I love it when I capture rainbows like that but it doesn't happen very often.

What a gorgeous view!!! I would just sit and stare out of that window no matter how cold it was outside. A fire in the fireplace perhaps? What a yummy day!
