Did you know that a Pocillovist is someone who collects egg cups as a hobby? Pocillovy comes from the Latin pocillovum ovi, meaning a small cup for an egg.
Wishing all my bloggy friends a very blessed Easter with family and friends.
I didn't know until yesterday. We have a TV program here called "Collectors" and there was a couple who had quite a collection of silver and brass egg cups - they're also used as christening cups. You DO learn something every day!
I shall just have to tell that to Mr O is is a collector of unusual words!! Yes i do have a post i am just putting on about Bruno, i adore his work! (i seem to have trouble with my posting times oops! ) i would love to see the slide show! thankyou. wishing you a very happy easter x
ps: did you ever go to bruno torfs garden? such an amazing place. the images i have seen of the garden afterthe fire spoke volumes, so heartbreaking, yet so blessed that they survived. and that terrible the fire so near your own home! it must have been such a frightening experience.
Yes, we visited a few years back; it was amazing. Send me an email (address on my profile) and I'll send you the slideshow by return. You need to press 'download' rather than 'view slideshow' - then you'll get the music with it. It's lovely. LBx
