My Morning...

Inspired by Delwyn's "Silence"
and Wanda's "Deep Into Fall"
yesterday morning, I wandered around my garden
in my 'jammies' capturing nature at the best part of the day.

And, as sun broke through the mist,
revealing the perfect azure sky,
Kookaburra wasn't fazed by my presence

and Charlie, our favourite Cockatoo
was keeping a beady eye on me,
following my every move!

Your misty morn would have lured me out in my jammies too, Alaine. Well worth the wet feet. Is that 2 birds cuddled beneath the roses? Love the shape of the large tree by the pond. Wish I had a Cockatoo keeping his eye on me!

What a way to start the day...it looks so tranquil and fresh...the mist makes the morning seem born again...

It's getting very warm here, about 30 and I'm feeling lazy...
I wonder if we could live in the country again...when we next build...part of me gives a rip roaring yea and another part is dubious...the Noosa hinterland does get very hot...but I do love the trees and space...

Your pictures did that...took me on a little reverie...

Are you trying to make us wildly jealous?! So beautiful, and I can imagine the weather vane too.

Looks like a beautiful morning

Wanda...our spring lush green is vastly opposed to the burst of colour you have at the moment but it's lovely to see our trees come alive again! Yes, there is two stone love doves under the roses!

Delwyn...we'll be leaving it all soon; 'Sedgemere' is on the market. Ideally I'd love to live near the sea, as my parents did in their retirement but we'll search for something on the fringe of a satellite city that has everything.

It's going to be a warm week here, too, not quite 30s but high 20s...I'll be on the look-out for snakes when weeding!

Pierre...thank you. Cheers from Oz!

gésbi...haha, as you can see, the weather vane is no longer atop the barn; we've taken it down as the property is on the market....I've no idea where we'll put it at the new house; perhaps on the garden shed!

Betsy...well, our spring only has a couple of weeks to go, then I'll be wishing for autumn...hope summer's not too hot!
