Not a care in the World!

Taj and 'Charlie' this afternoon
just hanging around!

Well, they don't have to prepare a house for sale!

I'll be taking a break for a while; most of the de-cluttering has been done but the garden awaits! Not much needs to be done out there; a few weeds pulled and mulching, we've done all the hard work with the pruning. But, then there's the barn and the huge shed....

Oh, readying a house for sale is a lot of work! Good luck with that. At least these two are staying out of the way! ha.

Alaine---I probably know just what you are feeling right now. It is such a struggle (emotionally and physically) to sell a house. I had such a hard time with it initially but now, when I look back only just 2 short months ago, it was probably the best thing we could have ever done. I hope that you will find the same.

One could paint these two pets, their position is funny and their colours are matching...

Pierre...funny, yes maybe, but unique; neither scared of the other!

Marion...Charlie will miss us and the clutter's now all in drawers!

Teri...that's really what I'm struggling with, the physical and mental! And the fear of the unknown; we still have to find a new house! I'm looking forward to the stage when I can relax again!

Betsy...you said it, a lot of work but all we can do is a little more each day and it will be done!

DeeBee...that's another thing that made me sad; I gave all of my art supplies, books, paint and brushes, to the local art group! I dabbled but realised an artist I would not make!

alaine it's been a long while since i've been through the proces you're presently experiencing but i can well-imagine the threads of connection tearing and your sensitivities stretched to their limit. watch the animals, they're managing the process well!!! steven

Steven....haha, good advice; I'll try to keep cool! I'm enjoying the Tour de France!

Dear Alaine,
Just learned that you're leaving your house. Must be sad and somewhat hurtful. It would be certainly for me, being so connected to the ground and surrounding of nature, we grew together.
I'm feeling with you and you are in my mind.
Lovely and so peaceful image of Charlie and the bird! I do hope that the new home will be as beautiful as this one.
Heartily greetings,
Karin

LaPouyette...Hello Karin, we don't have to leave but feel that now will be better than later. M is 70 next month and was never a gardener and I'm getting more aches and pains, so there'll come a time when I just can't keep it up. It will be so hard leaving but yes, we're hoping to find something lovely on a little less land but still have the feel of country around us.

I'll still be reading my favourite blogs but just don't have the time to spend composing posts.

Thank you for your kind words.
Cheers from Oz,
Alaine x

Change is so strange, but can be exciting...sometimes a mixture of happy and sad...yet for the best...bittersweet. Hope you find a new home just as charming as the one you leave, Alaine.

Haven't seen you on for a bit...concerned, but understand the work involved in moving...miss you, and hoping it's all going well for you. Let us know when you're settled. Sending you my light and love, big hugs, and if I could be there to help..I would be. In the meantime you'll have to settle for my brightest energy coming your way to lift you up and lighten your load.

Love and hugs,
karen

Dear Elaine,
So good to hear from you! Thank you very much for your comment. The preparation for all these churches requires a lot of work, but it's always a great success.

Hope that you are well and not overworked with the house-preparation. How is it going? Any news so far?

All my best wishes and warmest greetings, Karin
