Blogged out...

Besides the noble art of getting things done,
there is a nobler art of leaving things undone.
The wisdom of life consists in
the elimination of nonessentials.

One can, we know only too well, have too much of a good thing!

The joy of the blogosphere is that for what ever period of time you are absent, for whatever reason, we shall all be here waiting, like bad pennies, on your return. Enjoy your break.

Enjoy! I love that quote! It's good to say 'no' to things sometimes!

Jane and Lance, Steven, Betsy, Jérôme and Karin....many thanks for visiting; I've had a good week, the weather's been delightfully 'autumnal' and I've achieved a lot, preparing the garden for winter.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Maria...thank you for your response in following me! My husband was in Stockholm in March for the Swedish flyfishing fair and saw quite a bit of your country when he drove with a friend all day from Norway.

Your blog is lovely; I'll enjoy reading your posts on décor as we have similar tastes.
