I agree...an absolutely lovely and loving woman. She will be missed. I was glad to hear all 4 of her kids were by her side when she passed.

Mason...she was probably the first into my scrapbook when I was 13...I loved her then and followed her career, sometimes getting cross with her and feeling for her through the sad times.

MG...Karen, so many are united in their sorrow at her passing...she will be truly missed. And yes, it's wonderful that her family was there.

She seermed so absolutely real..maybe that's why so many have tears for her..she was a gift of beauty!

I don't remember her early career as much as I do her later. And I especially remember her love and fondness for Michael Jackson. To have such a close friendship, despite the age differences, truly speaks to a gentle soul. The thought of seeing violet eyes too...I have never in my life, have you?

Steven...indeed, she is well respected for her humanitarian work, her philanthropy and her courage in speaking out for AIDS when many buried their heads in the sand.
