Lady and the Tramp....er, Treadmill...

I don't know why I keep calling it a trampoline; perhaps because I tramp on it!  We've had rain and lots more to come, so my exercise is all sorted with my buddy, that tells me to "make it happen!".  I haven't been on a trampoline since teen years at youth club, hee!

I can even conserve energy
walking in the dark
with the lights on the dashboard

My walking friend, Marj, moved a couple of weeks ago across state. We used to walk three times a week around the local Pondage; a 4km trek that kept mind happy and body mobilised.  Happily, I've been asked to join another walking group, dogs in tow.

With this wintry outlook, a documentary or my favourite Pavarotti DVD playing, my thirty minutes of daily exercise passes pleasantly.

I love walking, in hills and around the countryside, and even in town and the bustling urban jungle. I'm sure you and Marj have some great paths and routes to walk along.

But I can't stand treadmills, I used one once and it drove me insane - such difficult machines :)

Wishing you a wonderful day, Alaine :D

Sam...thank you and a happy day to you too.

No, no, no, easy-peasy once you get the hang of it!

Being allergic to exercise, I'll leave you to it, Alaine! Your new walking group should offer even more enjoyment.

alaine - my winter exercise - well the indoor part of it, is done on a bike trainer so i hook the wheels onto the trainer and roll away. i bought some videos of roads through beautiful places around the world so i can pretend i am racing along through california for example under a gorgeous warm sun. hang in their alaine - winter'll be done before you know it and you'll be superfit!! steven

What a wonderful view for your regular exercise. I like to find a balance between outdoor and in.

Derrick....allergic to exercise! You're a one! Some people don't need it; you must be one of them!

Steven...superfit! I hope so! I'd love to know what those videos are, do tell, I'm sure I'd love them. I remember you mentioning your indoor machine.

Paul C...Don't worry, I love walking in the rain as well...just might do that today. One can become too housebound in winter.

Gosh if I had that view I'd be on the treadmill all the time. Happy trails!

No matter what you call it, this is a great combination to inspire a fitness regimen: the "trampoline,"
the view, and Pavarotti!

Ruthie...it's getting a good workout too! Expecting snow down to 800mt today, so our Eildon Hills might get a little white blanket on top!

Gwen...you'd have snow everywhere in winter, wouldn't you!

Readers, go and have a look at Gwen's beautiful garden!

Thanks for visiting, Gwen.

FireLight...the combination is enjoyable. I wouldn't use it so much if it was in a room staring out at a brick wall and the time goes so quickly with entertainment!
