A reader mentioned the other day that it's nice to see the gardens of their blog friends to get a picture in their mind of where they live and are writing from. I took these photos last Wednesday, a couple through the flywire, as the view above from our bedroom. Enjoy my Australian spring garden.

I love your table and chairs out under that wonderful hanging arbor. I can imagine some romantic candlelit dinners in the summer.
Willow (love your new avatar!), it is lovely out there. We've spent a couple of hot afternoons this week under the 'Grappa Grotto', a cool breeze, nibblies and chilled wine.
Your Australian garden is simply beautiful. It seems that every blogger from Australia who has posted photos of where he/she lives is actually living in some sort of green and colorful paradise.
Beautiful vistas from every room. Lucky you!
Lakeviewer, my late mother-in-law said often, "It's going to be hard to leave this place" and she was so right.
Trish & Rob, welcome and thank you. I had a brief look at your blog; I love it when synchronicity happens! I'm going to follow you as I find the stories fascinating!
Your views are spectacular! Looks like you don't have to worry about privacy! So do you have any neighbors? My house is surrounded by other houses. Your garden has great bones! The first view from the family room is my favorite. It has a bit of everything. Although the white flowers at the lounge room would be my second choice as a place to sit and contemplate. How fortunate to have such a gorgeous property. Thank you for sharing it with us.
alaine - what a beautiful property!!! beautiful!!! i'm with willow. i'd love to eat dinner or just gab over wine and whatevers under the trees. lucky lucky you! steven
What beautiful views! It must be lovely to sit outside, or look out of the windows to contemplate these views through the seasons. I like the photos with the white flowered shrubs in particular.
What an incredible view you have from your house...and to think it is your own garden...lucky thing!
Hello Maggie, we have a neighbours but they're in the distance, behind the trees; we only see their houses in winter when the leaves are gone!
Hi Steven, thanks. There'll be plenty of alfresco dining in the ensuing months!
Hello Phoenix, I do a lot of that, sitting, looking out. The white shrubs are Iceberg standard roses; there are five along that stretch. It's time to 'dead-head' my roses already; the blooms this year are enormous!
Pour me a glass of wine -- I'm on my way!
Hello Gypsy, a lot of work this time of year but that will end soon when the grass stops growing and we relax for a few months.
Hi T, woo-hoo! The bubbly is on ice!
Alaine, how beautiful , now i have wonderful pictures in my mind of your beautiful gaden in the sunshine, as i sit here shivering ;-) x
You dewll in a mini-paradise, Alaine... a little slice of heaven it looks...beautiful! Happy Days :o) ((HUGS))
