We've got the tickets!! I'm so excited!!

What's this movie? This would be SO EASY for film buffs out there. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it again last Friday night when holed up in an apartment in Melbourne while DMJ attended one of those 'men only' club annual dinners. I had takeaway Chinese Garlic Prawns and a very welcome mug of hot Mi-Chai tea (it was cold and windy in the city), after my shop-till-you-drop afternoon. Clue one, above view and one of the things on our list to do when we visit this city - we're coming!!

Another clue is, "She could peel an apple in one long, curly strip - the whole apple".

Clue three is Jimmy Durante but I couldn't find a video of him singing, "Make Someone Happy".

However, I did find a video of the last song and there I was, all alone, singing along to "When I Fall in Love". I also watched a very forgettable horror movie with Nicole Kidman in it and as a matter of fact, I fell asleep! I wonder why? Clive Griffin is also singing with Celine Dion in this clip.

Alaine: You sound so happy and excited. When is the trip?

I am doing well, BTW, thanks for asking.

Apparently I am NOT a film buff, because I haven't the slightest clue. My best guess is NYC.

I love that song. Have you heard the Nat King Cole one? He was the first, y'know.

Hi Alaine,

Well, I have no idea where you're going and there aren't even any earlier comments to give me a clue! BUT, I enjoyed the singing. Wherever it is, you're very lucky!

Well, I never would have guessed that's what it looked like. I thought it was low-slung and sleepy-like.

Never saw the film but I'll venture a guess that it had Tom Hanks in it.

Seattle?! I've been there only once; it's a beautiful city. When?

Hello Bonnie, we're going in November; counting the days!

Hello Susan, you've got the city. That was the first clue, the view from the Empire State building. Yes indeed, I have heard Nat King Cole sing it; we watched his TV show every week, decades ago. My Dad thought he was marvelous!

Derrick, I love finally getting there but the process is hard to take; 20hrs 50 min there and 22hrs 40m to get home!

Clever-pup, Hazel! Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

Willow, I wish we could go there too!

Sorry, everyone, I think my post was too confusing; 'Sleepless in Seattle' it was and they all met up at the top of the Empire State and that's one thing on our 'to do' list while we're in New York!

Staying 3 nights with a friend in NYC, then on to New Jersey for a Fly Tying Symposium. We're both so looking forward to it.
