This Morning...

The morning sun
Surrounds us
With its cosmic
Embrace

The morning light
Feeds our hearts
And guides our lives

At the morning dawn
I hear the gentle whisper
Of my blessingful
inner guide

Poetry by Sri Chinmoy

i haven't read sri chinmoy's writing for some time. long ago i used to visit a restaurant run by students of his. it was a sanctuary of kindness and then also generosity of spirit. "blessingful" is a word that creates its own space. your photography is beautiful here. steven

Steven...I'm glad to have found his poetry; reminiscent of Tagore, I feel. Many thanks.

Such beautiful photos and a wonderful poem that seems as though it was written just for them.

Mason...very soon more reds will appear. The poetry fits and expresses perfectly what I struggle to convey.

Your photos and Chinmoy's poem of morning sun, light and dawn are gentle whispers for me, Alaine, as I sit here visiting you this morning, while my dawn is breaking...my favorite time of day.

Wanda...here I am, out of bed at 4:30am, crazy, but we've just come out of daylight savings. It really is the best time of the day...we can have a little doze later. :)

Your photos are so beautiful that they make me long for autumn, even though we are at the start of the unfurling spring.

Renée...I should listen more often to
'my blessingful inner guide'...who is telling me to take it slow today. Hope you're having a lovely Sunday!

dancingbeastie....our letters crossed! The days are so beautiful and I really don't mind the chilly mornings and evenings....my kind of weather until the end of spring!

These photos really transport me to a beautiful place and morning. Your mellowing fall is quite a contrast to a reluctant spring.

Julie....Hi, we just spent the past 10 days in the Western district of the state...boy, is it dry over there...and we arrived home to amazing colour here!

You should be able to get TMFSR on DVD. I haven't checked but would like it for my library.

Have a great weekend!

P.S. Our neighbours here are presently basking on the Cinque Terre!!!

Paul C...you're still waiting on spring? The seasons are crazy this year; we hardly got a summer! I must take a shot of our trees tomorrow; what a difference in just 12 days!

Yvonne...good to see you; hope you're enjoying your spring flowers!

MG...Karen, it's nice to know I've been missed...all's well, just been away for 10 days without a computer...so good to be home! I did set up a post for last Saturday but I see that it didn't happen! :) Hugs, xa
