seeking the successive autumns."

  12. There is exceptional beauty in every season...but being in a northern climate, it is Spring that brings joy and rejuvenation so easily for me and Autumn, a very close second gives me a feeling of contentment and thankfulness!

  14. Wanda, thank you. I wandered around with my new mobile phone a few days back and made my first video 'production'. I still have to figure how to save it to PC and publish but I'm not in a hurry!

Since I posted, so many more leaves have fallen and we're getting some very welcome rain!

  15. So redundant, but so true...spring is everywhere and it is a wonderful celebration. But seeing your autumn pictures makes me all nostalgic for that time of year and for the

    "flaming torches
    lighting the way to winter."

  17. We went to Tennessee for a while so I am catching up now with my blogging friends. You know, the pictures in your post “our home yesterday” could be a scene from Tennessee where there are rolling hills too. I’ll post some pics on it in my next post. Interesting information about the ha-ha walls. Your autumn photos and quotes are beautiful. I like all the seasons really but prefer autumn – the colors, the weather getting cooler, it has a more “homey” feeling. Thanks for visiting my blog.

  18. Loved all the pictures and all of the quotes. Autumn is my favorite time of year. Your part of the world is slowing down, preparing for slumber, and mine is just waking up.
