I like your bookmark it is very elegant. I have a stack of bookmarks near my bed as I usually have ½ dozen books being read there. I cut the back of wall calendars; you know where they show what the picture is inside each month – because it is made of light cardboard and the pictures are pretty. I also pick up small ads on postcards during my travels, or Paris metro tickets, or restaurant cards from foreign cities and use those – and then I remember where they came from and then I stop reading and start dreaming about travels once more.
ReplyDeleteHello Vagabonde, how fortunate you are to have travelled extensively. Great idea using the tickets and postcards; I'd be doing a lot of dreaming too. My trouble is that I read a couple of pages and I'm in dreamland anyway! I wish I could stay awake to read, read, read!
